Title: Cone with spring in on firewall?

I've been looking over my 3 door TDI and I noticed a plastic cone on the passenger side firewall. When I tried to remove it, it had a spring attached. Looks like it could be part of the clutch system.

When I compared it to my Estate TDi, it didn't have one fitted.

Any ideas what it is?!

Haha! Pulling my leg! It looks fugly in the engine bay and I wanted to remove it.
