how hard/easy is it to fit a cd head unit out of a mk5 into the dash of a mk4 where ther cd player and head unit should be ?

Why would you want to do that when you can get one that will already fit?

plenty of other units out there that will fit straight in rather than having to custom fit a Mk5 player
