Okay so this is really bizarre. I don't know if any of you guys can help me. Any Sherlock Holmes?
I always leave my cars wipers on the auto setting. Two days ago I came out to my car after being parked at my Misses house to find my wipers in the upright position. As in wipers part of the way up the screen and lifted off the windscreen. I was very annoyed and at first just thought it was some kids thinking it was a funny joke, then I wondered how the hell they managed to lift the wipers when they are locked behind the bonnet?
I thought nothing of it after that and went about doing my own business.
Then I was parked outside work in a different city entirely. I came out to my car after my shift ended to find my wipers lifted up again in the exact same position as before. This time with just 1 wiper lifted off the screen.
Twice in 3 days?? What is going on!!??
So, firstly how are they lifting the wipers off the screen when they are locked under the bonnet and won't lift.
There is no signs of damage to the wipers either. I just drop them down and they work as normal, no fuss.
Any ideas?

am1w is messing with your car? Unless the wipers can be yanked to 90 degrees from their resting place, i'd say you've got a fault that causes the wipers to pop up into the service position after you've left the car and then it's kids arsing around pulling them outwards off the screen.

Haha! Probably!
They're not up 90 degrees they are up just enough to lift them up past the bonnet. About a third of the way up the screen I'd say.
I thought the same but what's the chances of them being lifted up the only 2 times they've risen up the screen? I've never come out to my car with the wipers part way up.

I had the same thing on my old Scirocco. I assumed it was kids.
