hi I have 215/45/17 what size should I have on thank you
-
I think 45s are the correct size for a 17" wheel.
The width of the tyre will depend on the witdth of the alloy.
-
what came on the wheels where 215/40/17 the alloys came off a Toyota cilica
-
I have 225/45/17 on my 17" with no probs
-

Yep, spot on.

I use 225/45/17 's
Vw alloys
-
use either 215 or 225, most peeps use the 225 as there is a better choice and usually cheaper
-
Bare in mind that the 225 will be marginally taller in profile as well as wider than the 215.
