Title: crankshaft fan belt pulley..

where can I buy one for a type 19 early 8v ?
I can only see used ones on evil bay TBH...for such an old bit ,i'm worried about the rubber being dud too
....mines wobbling about like a fat bloke at a disco FFS  :angry:

Just a none power steering belt no?

non power steering yes.. the original is a cast iron center with a rubber sandwiched between an outer cast iron section, which i guess is for anti vibration?

...well i have taken a chance on a used one  :smiley:

 the old one sounded like the big ends knocking ,so i dropped the sump checked the mains & big ends all OK
the oil pump pick up strainer etc.

my mate who used to be an AA patrol spotted the pulley problem  :cool:

Can you not use the Mk3 item? maybe off an early 2E or 1.6
Worth eyeballing one up from a scrappy then buying a new one if it works out maybe.

 the used one has arrived & put it on today , hey presto no knocking noise  :grin:

the old one had separated the center was spinning inside the outer  :shocked:
