When i try to connect my Note 4 with Discovery Pro it takes about seven minutes to establish the rsap connection. I think that is not normal and there must be a problem in bluetooth connection. Maybe Note 4 has newer software for bluetooth then Discovery Pro. And when i go out of my car and bluetooth connection on my Note 4 is still on i am offline!!! That means if somebody calls me cant get me. If i then turn bluetooth on Note 4 off everything is ok and people can reach me. What is here to do any solutions? Thanks

It's not the Note 4 software I'm sorry to say. I have a Note 4 running Android 4.4.4 and mine connects fine.
In fact it connects quicker than my S5 used to, and is more stable.
I did update my Discover Nav pro to the latest map software back in May of this year. Is yours on the latest version?
What variant of the Note 4 do you have? Is it Snapdragon on Exynos? Mine is the SM-N910F

My Discover Pro runs on 2014/2015 version so it is not the latest november 2015 version found here http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Navteq-NavteqEurope-Site/de_DE/-/GBP/View-Promo;pgid=pGpU23kYqd5SR0EmbwXpKNPU0000q0sIRU0K;sid=zhK1jO7R5la9jLpBVq73hOTbmbw_Mrl_RKyyHR8y?&cwt=application/ApplicationFrame_campaign_light&&Page=VW_Discover_Pro&
My phone has number SM-N910C and it runs on android 4.4.4. About chip set i am not sure but i must say that now is everything ok. I took my phone to service center and they have found out that motherboard is not ok. Now i have new motherboard and everything works just fine but for bluetooth connection with Discover Pro it still takes about a minute to connect. It looks that i had bad luck with my new phone - it happens.

That's map version you've quoted which has nothing to with updating software of a nav pro. Your Bluetooth will be unaffected by a map update. It sometimes takes a minute or so for my galaxy s4 to connect via Bluetooth so I don't see what the problem is?

Sorry to jump on the back of this thread, (rather than start a new one), but has anyone with an Iphone and the standard bluetooth (i.e. not the advanced), noticed that when ending a call, it doesn't end straight away but rather says "Ending" on screen for about 5-6 seconds before terminating and returning back to what ever you were listening to ?
I had this on my Iphone 4s and now my new Iphone 6, and it's always been the same from day one of owning the car. On my previous Scirocco, pressing the phone button on the steering wheel would terminate the call and return you almost immediately. It's a small issue but one that's always niggled me. Is it just Iphone's on do other brands suffer the same issue ?

Sooty, does the same thing with my Samsung S4 - no idea why, but deffo does it.
The other annoying one is when you dial using voice commands, after the command it drops back to radio/media for a second or so before dialing. ggrrrr

Yes, with my 4S... I can't say it has really bothered me though. Wat I have noticed is that if I initiate a call whilst listening to music from the phone, when I end the call the music remains paused... and I have to press play to start it again... but only if I dial out, not if a call comes in... Again, not that bothered...

You will not get a RSAP connection with Discovery Pro, only HFP. If you are trying to get RSAP that will be the reason.

Your Note 4 is not a snapdragon version, which might not help.
SM-N910C is the Asian Exynos (Samsung's own 8-core CPU version), and not the UK SM-N910F variant 4 Core Snapdragon) so the chipset and motherboard are different to the main European version of the phone.
It's mainly sold in Asia and South American (although you can still buy it in Europe).
It shouldn't make a difference with Bluetooth connections and syncing speeds, but perhaps it might be why it's slightly slower.
Sorry to go all geeky.
