As above, my rear spring has snapped this morning.
Time for an upgrade I believe .
Could anyone recommend which springs to get and associated prices please.
Thanks in advance,
Mart

Here you go, take your pick!
Personally I have the VWR (Volkswagen racing) springs.http://www.awesomegti.com/car/vw/golfmk6/volkswagen-racing-sport-spring-set-vw-golf-mk6
Gave me about 30mm drop front and back, and also it's designed for the stock shocks so that means your ride will be like OEM rather than rock hard or bouncy. Not only this, but you also won't have to replace your shocks with aftermarket counter parts.
Having said that, I've ran H&R springs before on stock shocks and the ride was absolutely fine, and so were the shocks
Go with a good brand like H&R, Eibach, or VWR/APR and happy days.
I'm actually considering changing to coilovers - if you buy me a set I could swap you my springs for em!

I'll second that, oerfect drop in my opinion, not too much! And tge ride quality is awesome, and there's literally no body roll
