Took my 2.5 year old Golf 6 to have the rear wheels swapped to the front (to maximize life of the tires) and vice-versa (my driveway is on a hill otherwise i would have done it myself) and have the wheels aligned as it was slightly veering to the left on the motorway.
For some reason, the guy aligned the wheels THEN swopped the wheels, would it not have made sense to swap first then align them? It is still slightly veering to the left :/

These cars can suffer inner edge rear tyre wear due to incorrect alignment. VW recommend that you fit new tyres, then have the alignment done so that it is all set up with the car sat as it should no 'square' tyres.
