Title: VW's new 5 year life cycle
Post by: The Mighty Elvi on 08 November 2014, 11:45
So..all you chaps who are thinking of buying a new VW will see it reduce in value far quicker.

Facelift after 3 years, replaced after 5 years.

Meh.  Used car values are an odd thing in the UK anyway. In other countries they seem far more detatched from the age of the vehicle.

Probably make them go rusty quicker so you need a new one every 5 years

Modern cars are not built to last beyond a decade at a push anyway. I'll stick with my reliable 23 year old daily. And in regards to the mk7, plenty reasons on this forum on why not to buy one.
