Title: Alarm going off and luggage compartment light flashing

I have a 2001 m4, today the alarm keeps going off and on the dash a 'luggage compartment' light keeps coming up. There is also a light for topping up wash fluid. The boot is shut, and the light is off. Every time i lock the car with the button. The alarm keeps going off! Help. My cat is unlocked as that is the only way i can keep it from going off

Press the button at the bottom of the pillar (below welter your seat belt is)  and then lock your car......it's now locked without the alarm being set!!!

Fix/replace the microswitch in the boot lock....  :whistle:

I guess the rear washer doesn't work?

Leaking into the bootlid and setting alarm off.
