What's the best option? Thinking of swapping over my 18" Monzas for something a bit wintry.

Swap you my Charlestons for em? :P

I bought a different set of 17" alloys for my Passat last year off ebay. They came with 4 very good summer tyres that I would have needed to buy soon anyway and I already had my winter tyres waiting in the shed. Taking off the value of the tyres that came with them, the wheels only owe me £80. Two of them could do with a referb, but it's only very light kerb rash which isn't that noticable.

Ive got 16s with winter tyres. As the wheels are cheap off ebay and the tyres also cheap.
Much better with potholes and curbs too less likley to damage a wheel in winter.
