Hi guys, apologies if this is in one of the manuals already!
If your window regulator fails and you need to lock your window in the upright position temporarily, you can do this very easily by screwing a couple of 50mm bolts into the window clamp through two holes at the top of the door.

This happened to me yesterday in the corrado and just used a couple of bits of 2 x 4. Would be interesting to see if it has similar holes to the mk2. Will check later.

I have converted my drivers' door to manual while I repair the electric motor, but does anybody know where I can get the screw to hold the window winder handle on? Or know what size I need?

This happened to me when my regulator wire snapped. I just used a stick to keep it up.
