What do I need to do a proper EGR delete on my PD130?

So I couldn't get away with just the blanking plate?
-
Theoretically yes as you'd still be stopping the exhaust gases been recirculated back into the intake system. The delete pipes do away with the EGR valve completely and not only flow better you get rid of the poxy bayonet hose connection which always leak. On the downside you also remove the ASV (anti-shudder valve) so engine shut down won't be quite as smooth.
Personally I'm still in two minds about losing the ASV as its also there as a safeguard against engine run on and a certain self destruction...

That Darkside one linked above is wrong as well, for some reason it states it's for the PD130 yet it's only 51mm. You'd need the 57mm version.

There's a few people selling new ones on the various mk4 Facebook groups for £30.

Thai-wronghorse could you post some links for them on Facebook?
