Hi guys,

I am looking for a mk4 golf gt tdi pd 3 door for about £5500. I assume this will only get me a 115ps engine.

What is the difference between the 115, 136 & 150ps engine. Are their mechanical differences or are the increases acheived by software alone.

What is the maximum bhp/ps i can get from a 115?


I have previously had a mk4 gt tdi pd colour concept x reg which i thought was a 115ps engine but have since been advised that the colour concept mk4's of that time were given the 130ps engine. (is this correct)

Any advice appreciated.

i don't think the 130bhp engine was out until the end of '01 so that would be after the x reg colour concept wouldn't it?
