Traffic Program is stuck on CLASSIC - and they never have any fooking broadcasts - tried turning Dab TP on and off . left it on for over an hour on other stations, but its never broadcasts.

Was on BBC R2 when i got the car and worked fine,

Anyone got any idea, cos its pissing me off and I got stuck in traffic yesterday as I wasnt getting any TP updates

Take it out and put it in the cupboard, then fit an RCD 510, or if you are feeling flush, an RNS 510. Not only will it cure the current problem, it will make the dash look sooooooooo much better.

Oh, and use the steering wheel buttons to adjust the volume, that way the power/volume button can stay the right way up.

Do you have classic tuned to a particular memory location? I believe all VW radios have a twin tuner inside. I thought there was a key press somewhere that would show you the two tuners.

Press and hold menu seems to get to a secret tuning menu eventually, even tells you if both antennas are ok.

Next thing might be a press and hold TP - it might enter a TP tuning thing where you have to tune the radio station for TP. But this is a total guess based on some trolling the net on previous models of radio.

I was going to suggest the same. If you switch to FM and tune into BBC R2 it should use that station for traffic alerts in other modes like DAB or Media. Certainly how it worked for me in my old SEAT.
