Hi all.
I'm most familiar with the mk4 section having had a mk4 2.0 GTi. Even though it was a touch on the slow side I loved it! I was gutted when I had to swap it but needed something more reliable and cheaper to run for work as I do a lot of miles. I ended up with a 1.6 diesel Mazda 3, it was practical, comfortable and cheap to run but I just didn't enjoy owning or driving it!
I'm glad to say I've been offered a new job where I won't be using my own car but pool cars in the day so I've traded the mazda in and have got a MK5 Golf 2.0 FSI. I've had it for just about 10 days. Its a 54 plate and has only done 78000 miles with FVWSH it has the rust bubbling under the front arch which i'm hoping to get done under warranty as its still less than 12 years old but other than that it's in solid condition. I'm already enjoying driving and owning it so much more than the Mazda and am glad to be back on the forum!
Jack.

3 - door , looks nice

Cheers,
Yeah my Mk4 was 5 door as was the Mazda and I always wanted a three door so I'm chuffed!
I'm after one of the newer GT front Grills and Bumper to give it a bit of a sportier look so fingers crossed!

The GT front is a good looking front, but would a Jetta front grill and bumper also fit, think they're pretty much the same thing?

I have no idea!
definitely worth having a look at though as it'd work out a lot cheaper if it does!
Cheers!
