Post by: SR TDK on 08 October 2014, 07:30
Hi Guys

sorry if this has been asked.
I'm about to get new shoes for my gti.
just wanted to know if anyone is running 235/ 35/ R19 tyres ?

I'm planning on getting Eagle F1 asymmetric 2 on my Santiagos.

Thanks

Yes, I run them.
I'm think R's with 19" wheels run them too.

Thanks
I was worried about 235 rubbing  the inner fender

No, I run them on wider wheels with different offset to standard too and there's loads of room in the arches.
They're only 1cm wider than 225's and the front arches aren't tight for space like on a mk5/6 (I ran them on a mk6 too with no issues).
