Title: Few little interior niggles
Post by: dannyd126 on 06 October 2014, 10:07: Hi guys, got an annoying problem inside my car, my heater dial illumination doesnt work and all illuminations in my centre console (rear windscreen heater switch doesnt light up) also my diagnostics plug doesnt work, stereo works fine.

And my screen on my dash (trip computer) is very intermittent, sometimes it works perfect, sometimes it has little bits of the display faded and sometimes it isnt on at all.

Before i start stripping it out, any idea what could be causing these problems?

Post by: gm8 on 06 October 2014, 11:07: heater dials are easy , on the middle dial put a cloth or something around it and pull it out gently with pliers. One bulb illuminates all 3.
Diag plug : if you have an AGU apps like torque wont read any data as its just too old.

Dash computer on mines fades terribly when it gets hotter. Its perfect at the start of the day. I just live with it now.

helps me out considerably bud cheers, im really picky though any idea how to sort the computer issue?
