hi, i have built a few sets of bbs rm/rs wheels and always torqued them to 25ft/lb with used bolts or 20 with new. i have done this because i read it somewhere ages ago.
just bolting up a set with new bolts and they are snapping. the seller is claiming that rm's should only be torqued to 15 ft lb
does anyone have a link to anywhere that proves the torque settings please?

All depends on the bolt "Class" - 4.6, 8.8 10.9 or 12.9. The first is not usually torqued and not used in the automotive industry. If they were M6 8.8, 10.9 or 12. then the torques would likely be 11,15 and 19 Nm respectively. Hope that helps?
