Title: How my mk5 looks now
Post by: Anti-Freeze on 02 October 2014, 23:22
After giving her a new plastidip finish and installing a badge-less grill (keeping the GTI emblem) here's how she's looking:

What you guys think? I'm thinking of redipping the wheels to a pearl white.

Not keen on mk5s being badgeless and the plastidip is like marmite some will like it some won't! I think it looks nae bad!! The monzas don't bother they looks pish just change the wheels

I'm going to defend the de-badge corner (obvious reasons, look at my sig). Also, I think the Monza's look OK, but I would personally keep them in the colour they are and lower the car down about 20-25mm.I really like what you've done there, certainly different and it really works. Get a project thread going!

And as above, more pictures!

I prefer the car on the left.

I might just do that @th3_f15t .
I'm planning on getting Air Ride at some point, as the roads are really varied where I live and I can't justify being statically lower than stock height.
@Egbutt Wash Yeah I love my rado too, but this is a golf gti forum ;)

Air ride would be the practical option. I have to drive around London suburbs where they love speed humps, on a 30mm drop I have no issues but I would guess at 50mm I'd start to struggle.
