Title: Hid's
Post by: reedy20vturbo on 30 September 2014, 22:51
Is it safe to use hid lights in standard headlights as I'm reading about people saying not to but not stating why? Have any of you guys done this? Cheers

Nope as the beam pattern is hopeless, just run uprated bulbs.

Ahh right ok, so what's everyone doing to get the nice blue/white lights?

If you really want HID's fit some decent projector headlights, or better still, hold out for some OEM xenon/.:R32 headlights.

These are still technically illegal without auto levelling and washers, but I doubt you'd ever have an issue with them.

Ther's no point spending double the money and fitting OEM xenons then lol
