Hi,

I have just ordered a pre-registered GTI today and will take delivery on Friday.

Does anyone know where I can put the registration to get the full build of the car?

Hey Chris,

I, too, am in Kettering !!

You should be able to try on the VW UK site, failing that call in at VW Kettering and they will be able to provide you with full details pal

Thanks, I will have a look on the website all I know is it has the performance pack!

Now I am reading the thread about people changing there GTI's for the R, doh lol!

I have a White Mk6 GiT, which you may find queuing on the A14 !!!

I got mine from Derby but got the wife's Polo from Kettering, both are Parkway group though.

Although I would love an R, I decided against it for the GiT for long term options such as re-sell etc

I thought Red meant Red car, lol!

White seems to be a popular colour and looks very cool, also it was the only per-registration that was available within a few days other wise I would have had to wait until the end of October.

I did not even think about the R to be honest, my plan was to drive the GD, R and GTI but the salesman just took me out in the GTI and that was it! (Also he never had an R to Test Drive).

I got my pre reg from kettering they had some kind of sales weekend this weekend but I was to busy watching the Ryder cup  :laugh: enjoy the new motor
