Title: OBD2 - Windows 8

After some help here!

I have Window 8 on my laptop. I bought a Galletto 1260 lead that plugs in to the OBD port on the car and from there to my laptop. The laptob makes a 'bing' noise when I put the USB lead in so it is detecting a device but nothing is showing on my laptop......Any ideas on this or where to look?

When the lead is connected to an older laptop did you need to install drivers etc?

if so is it showing inthe Windows 8 Device manager? is the cable ODBII to USB or serial? and what software are you running on the laptop for diags?
