Title: Ipod preparation for the R32?

During the weekend i came across a R32 Configuration tool (like the one for the GTI) @ www.Volkswagen.de, as you go through the options, there's one option talking something about 'hot-docking' a ipod to the car.

Because the site is written in german and my translation is up the creek, can anyone confirm this if this is true or not.

Yes, this is an option on the R32 and the GTI now. It fits in the centre armrest. Believe it can also be retro fitted also.

Did mine myself on the mk 4 and it sits in the glovebox
