Was just nosing around looking to give under the bonnet a bit of a clean and found a bit of plastic loose under the engine cover.
It's black plastic and has a part number of 5Q0 971 890 D.
Have checked around under the cover and nothing seems to be loose or still needing fixing down etc. and the car's never been in a garage where they would need the cover off (unless it was removed for PDI etc.)
Anyone know where it should go/if it should be somewhere else on the car?
If it makes a difference, mine's an earlier one with the extra cover over the inlet manifold.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have a pic mate?

The description in etka is "bracket for connector housing water box harness for lambda probe"
It shows it's location as somewhere around the bulkhead.

I'll put a photo up later, but I'll have a look around the bulkhead too.
Thanks for your help guys.

Panic over!
Here's the part I found...

and here's the one still installed in the car.

I'd guess the bloke dropped it onto the top of the engine and couldn't easily see it so got another one out the parts bin (or something like that).
Ta for your help guys.
