Hi guys, i have a problem with my GTI's key-fob. For some reason the key-fob is just not working, i changed the battery this morning and that has made no difference. It will not lock/unlock the car remotely. i can only unlock the doors by putting the key in the doors, the old fashioned way. And furthermore because the key-fob is dead i can't even start the car because of the immobiliser. I cant even turn the radio on, not that i need too but it was just something i checked just now. So at the moment my car is outside and cannot be started at all. Is there anything i can do, i can't even take it to the garage because i cant start it... help needed urgently.
PS. I only have one Key-Fob.

If the key fob was broke the car would still start. You have another problem with the imobilizer
