hi i need new wheel trims for my golf
the tyres say 15r and today i went to see someone local who had 15 inch wheel trims but they did not fit (they were also from a golf, perhaps not the same model, as he was unaware, but they never fitted. it seems the nuts on my wheel were not allowing the wheel trims to lock in)
ive checed on eurocar parts and it says my golf is the 2011 variant, even though it has a 10 plate...

i was looking at these to possibly fit? or are the better cheaper equivalents...

They look awful! you get what you pay for, and a Mk6 deserves better, have you tried phoning your local VW dealership, and pricing up some genuine items that'll actually look the part! just quote your registration number to the parts department, and they'll tell you what should be fitted

Save up and by some alloys, wheel trims are like Dunlop Trainers even worse with cable ties

how much will it cost for some alloys? second hand...set of 4
i was just wondering about the fitting..

how long is a peice of string.
could get second hand mk6 standard alloys with ok tyres with a couple of mm tread for around £400.
aftermarket alloys, anything up to a couple of grand.
have a look on ebay and in the classifieds
