Hello,
Vag com keeps notifying that I have a cylinder misfire on cylinder 2 and 4, it wasn't throwing a code it was on the measuring blocks, I changed coil packs with spate ones I have and now it's still saying misfire on cylinder 2 but now it's saying cylinder 3 and 1 misfire too, it comes and goes and I can't really feel it when I drive, only sometimes it'll give a little cough, I have noticed that my injector seals are weeping too, will this cause misfiring? It had a set of plugs about 7000 miles ago, and it's had the recall for coilpacks, has anyone had this problem? Any information will be much appreciated :)

Have similar prob with mine for about 2 months, mostly in morning coughing and choking for about 20 seconds then clears its self. Had multiple cylinder misfire fault code and cylinder 1 and 3 misfire. Was planning on changing the valve cover gasket coz found oil on spark plugs when i replaced them last and thought that was the cause, anyway changed my ebay temp sensor for a genuine one Friday and car hasn't coughed since
But its only been 3 days :lipsrsealed:

Yeah I've already replaced temp sensor, mine only seems to give a little cough when I just start coming into boost, other than that it'll give the odd cough on idle but I'm gonna change plugs and coils again anyway and see what happens, thanks for your reply :)

is the coil pack wiring looking ok? they are known to wear and produce symptoms like this

Yeah mate all look fine, coil packs are up to date with the newest ones, it's really confusing, it only seems to do it on tick over and I've left vagcom plugged in and driven the car and it doesn't pick up any misfires until it's idling, very confused :/
