As some of you may of known (due to the classified sale section) I had my Mk 4 GTI 1.8T AUM Golf for sale. I had owned the car for six years and I had spent over £6000 on her in parts and labour turning her into a 260+ BHP car. I was sad to see her go, but I couldn't of wished for a better customer!
The man who bought her is a Nurburgring instructor and wants to turn her into a track car. His Father came and collected the car yesterday and he was such a really nice bloke and told me some interesting things about Mk 4 1.8T Golfs. The buyer and his dad also invited me and my son to go on one of the Nurburgring trips they do each year. How could I refuse! :grin: They are going to keep me updated with how the GTI is transformed into a track car, and when I go on one of their trips I will get to see my old GTI again with a new lease of life as a track car!
I could not of wished for a better ending to my GTI time of life! :smiley:

That's always good to know your pride and joy has gone to a good home. Keep us updated with the work they do to it

Good has gone to a decent owner and will get used properly :)
