Looking at your car they could have used it as part of the event, if only I could mine that clean

Haha, cheers

On a good day it could maybe give some of those shiny new GTIs a run for their money

Well I decided not to go in the end. I do love my Mk6, but at the same time I didn't want to depress myself by looking at new cars I couldn't afford!

On a brighter note we completed on our first house today and move in tomorrow!

Not to worry..... getting on the ladder is the best and most important purchase to make. Congratulations.

I had an invite also but didn't attend. I'd have liked a shot in the GTI or the R out of interest.

I wonder if anyone actually receives one of these invites and thinks "They must think I am a really important customer, I really ought to go and buy a car even tho' I hadn't even considered buying one" and then come home having fell for the "It's only an extra £10 a month" line. Not realising that they are a further £10k+ in debt with a further 3 years before it's paid off.

There'll no doubt be some that are gullible and fall for the spiel, but not many from on here I wouldn't have thought.
