Title: remapping (kinetic tuning)

Hi guys just to put a note on the website about rhys from kinetic tuning what a great guy very very helpful guy cant wait to have my remap. poolerman :laugh:

Hi Mike

Looks like its as I suspected and you need a different cable / software to rewrite the cars CCM  :sad:  it cant be done via VCDS as far as I can see  :smiley:

The brief bit of research I did was related to Audi's but they use the same parts so I guess its applicable.  A group of people had found out how to alter the EEPROM within the CCM that allows the mirrors but obviously they won't share the ins and outs  :rolleyes: :sad:

It was either that or you possibly need a new door control module  :undecided:

All of the above is based on memory from a few months ago I'm afraid
