My car really struggled to start the other day (It had been sat for a couple of weeks) nut it started, then the other day I made a short journey (about 2 miles) and when I tried to start the car it wouldn't.
A jump start cured the problem but it has just happened again.
A few questions....
1. Is it possible to bump start a DSG? :embarrassed: (go easy with me its my first automatic car in over 20 years of driving!)
2. Do I need a new battery?
3. How do I prove its the battery?
4. Best place/price for a new battery?
Thank you!

When you poke the battery with the car NOT running you should have 12.6 volts. When you start the car this should go up to 14.4ish volts. Your local motor factors should be reasonable for price, but i think there's something funny about putting any make of battery on. Someone else will put you right there.
