mk4 1.8t coolant fans not working tried fuses new sensors even swapped fans over from my other 1.8t that i know work an they still did nothing :headbang: they work if i bridge the switch at lower rad

Have you checked the fuse on the fan control mod? If they fine then check the temp sensor or vag com it.

tried both fuses on top of the battery :sad: still nothing

This is probably your issue. You need to find one that matches part numbers as the pins are different on different models. I'm just about to break up a 2001 1.8T with manual air con.

yes new genuine 1 fitted :smiley:

tried this with swapping the part from my other 1.8t still no luck :smiley:

At which stage is the power not getting through?
Bridge temp switch and then check there has got to be a break in the circuit somewhere.
