Practical Classics magazine are looking to do a big mk1 feature in a forthcoming issue. They are after a range of mk1's, modified and standard, to put together a good story. Sunday the 2nd of February is the suggested date with Basingstoke as the meeting point. If you think you own a decent mk1, get in touch and I can pass on your details to the organiser.
Practical Classics? Just shows how old the mk1 has become!!!
Cheers,

Just picked up a couple of copies this weekend!
Not a bad article at all! Made me chuckle a couple of times anyway!
Go buy a copy!

hiya, am willing to show my Mk1 Golf, 1983, black, A150 GTJ, it has only had 2 owners from new, and has been well looked after. Although it has an eyebrow spoiler, an vw alloys, I still have the complete original grill, and wheels. My e-mail address is clare242002@yahoo.co.uk
