Thought this was interesting, chat of cars people are contemplating after their GTD/GTIs. Clearly in competition with the R, but from £38,900 my god its not cheap. Not impressed by the looks at all or those awful DRLs, I'll have an R thanks

It looks good, there is just something, it is just still a little... camp? I think its the bubbley roof, maybe.
Love that front end though. Still, wouldnt have one.

A little bit camp?! Ha yeh hairdressers car. Id envy seeing someone in a top of the range, all singing all dancing R or s3 but a tt doesnt do it for me. It has subtle changes from earlier model but bot agressive enough for me. For 40k you are better finding a few more k for a cayman.

From a distance it looks like its stole the GTI wheels!
I like the seats, dash and air vents. Would definitely have them in my car but not so sure of the whole package.

I do like the TT (never liked the MK1), but there is always the feeling that it strongly has the "hairdressers car" tag (how much are we paying these hairdressers???). The front looks a lot more aggressive than ever before, but side-on it still looks very much like a MK2.
The TTS looks very very expensive next to the S3 and Golf R. Unless it is absolutely rammed with equipment so that there is nothing you'd need to spec on top (19/20" wheels, super sports seats, magnetic ride, all of the sensory equipment like parking plus, light and rain, autodimming rear view mirror ACC etc) it does not look very good value at all, especially next to the Cayman.
