Title: Traction control and ABS warning lights just came on?
Post by: Bfstrachan on 04 September 2014, 12:12
I just changed over my charge pipe from the standard AUM (coupling type) to the samco silicone and AGU pipe. Don't know if I may have disturbed something while doing this? The lights have come on just after I changed over the pipes. Does anyone know if this could be related or was it just coincidence? The brakes and traction seem to be fine, but before I start looking into it thought I would shout here first...
Thanks!

I assume you had the wheel off to do this?

It's a black cable which clips into the shock, then down to the sensor itself behind the brake disc

No, car was up on ramps. Don't think I was near the wheel, unless I jarred the cable - maybe? Was just around the "pancake" pipe and up top under the top strut brace. Funnily enough though, tonight when I went out the warning lights were no longer showing up? Will keep an eye on it though.
Thanks!
