Title: Car won't start

Hi guys, not sure if am in the right place to post but here goes.

I've got 2001 gti turbo. The cars been off the road for a year, been in my garage. The battery is completely flat as to be expected. I tryed to jump the car but it just won't start, it turns over but doesn't fire up. Any ideas anyone?
P.s it's got petrol in it ;)

Yea put £15 in the tank the other day
