I have a Mk2 Golf 8v White "Treser" 3 door sunroof model with a full BBs bodykit which I need to restore .The boot lid has a plastic type cover with the words treser on it - the plastic is a smoke type colour - dark grey. The paintwork is "pearlescent" which results in producing the look of many different colours as you move around and as I understand it VW resprayed these and one was allocated to each dealership. Does anyone have any information regarding the accuracy of what I have been told about this model ?
Thanks

Never heard of this, but it would be pretty easy to replicate it though, since Im pretty sure you can buy the plasic cover and things.
What about the build sticker in the boot or on the service record?

Could probably do with a copy of the 80's bible:

Parts appear on ebay - there's a new Treser heckblende on ebay.de at the moment:

Not sure on the one to each dealer thing.
Pics of your car?
