Ever since owning my first golf gti mk3 I've always wanted to do a vento front end conversion. Now that I have purchased another gti and the resources and funds does anyone know where I can the parts to do this? My gti is a dragon green colour?

get on ebay, classifieds etc.
you only need the bonnet, head lights and grille (you can add the vento bumper which is deeper and runs a different splitter buts the golf one works fine)

Hyped, overdone, spend the money on something else :lipsrsealed:
You always end up changing it back and selling on the bits if they don't break taking them apart.
And then there is driving around with a Benetton front end while you save up to get it sprayed, the bit which most people decide its sh!t and move it on as a bad mistake

So true bush

the worst thing about the vento conversion is the light output is far far poorer than twin chambers (candles do a better job!)

Even with a relay fitted they are a key ring torch at best.
I remember a Mk2 which had the Jetta front, pulling it all off (breaking bits left and right) to re fit GTI front only to find the metal housing that it screwed to did not exist any more...
Only one Jetta light would stay in after re fitting :lipsrsealed:

Been done to death, Golf's should have Golf fronts

If you want a Vento front - go for it. Of course it's been done before A LOT, but the cars are so bloody old now what hasn't been done!
