Title: GTI my15 - usb compatible?
Post by: scoobyc on 19 August 2014, 21:58
Quick query, I've read the manual and it says it basically depends on which market the car is in but it might have a USB connection for reading a memory stick! Can someone tell me if it has a connector as standard or is it a case of buying a lead for the connector in front of the gear lever? I don't have sat nav if that makes any difference. Thanks.

If you opt for the pro nav then there is a usb connection in the cubby, any other head unit comes with VW's "media-in" connection which requires a usb cable adapter, although you'd be just as well using an SD card in the glovebox slot which is standard on them all.
