Title: MAF diamater?

Does anybody know the MAF diameter?
I'm sure its been asked before but i have searched for days and can't find anything conclusive.
I want to fit a cone filter (newbie alert) and as far as i know it goes into the MAF? So i need the size of the MAF so i can buy the correct neck size for the cone filter?
Any help would be great.

What engine mate? If its a 1.8t AUM, AGU etc.. Then its 70mm

Only put an air filter on the MAF if you get a heat shield for it and MAKE SURE its a NON OILED filter
