Alright mate, could be a number of things, but suggests your system is running too rich.

When my 1.8t was doing this I found that bypassing the N249, cleaning the TB, cleaning the MAF and simplyfying my PCV system fixed all of this.

Dont forget if you delete the sai get the resistor to prevent error code.

just get 3 resistors and delete the SAI, N249 and N112, you could also do the carbon canister too at the same time, so if you want that too, you'll need 4 resistors  :smiley:
