hi all in a state of shock just bought my first my golf gti and for some reason no insurance company will touch me so i have 1989 golf gti 8 valve for sdale inm goodish nick healthy engine bodywork is tidy so im a fter offers around ?500 but to the right person we could talk buisness speak soon or telephone me on 07709486829 thanx all

Someone, somewhere has got to insure you- keep looking mate, dont give up yet! I have a 22 year old mate with a Toyota MR2 that has cost 4 grand to insure!! somebody will take your money off you ;)

Yep keep looking, try the specialists, are you going fully comp, or just 3rd party.
I mean think about it, is it worth >?500 per year to fully comp a ?500 value car?
How old are you and what mods have been carried out on your valver.

Hi aslong as it has no mods, try tesco i am 18 with a 8V GTI and pay ?1400 a year I know it sounds a lot but they are great cars worth every penny.
Its worth mich more than ?500 more like ?1000 if its nice

the prick my ex now goes out with aparently just bought a skyline and he's 20 ::) ?4000 a year thrown at the insurrance.
I'm betting ?5 he's been banned or crashed before xmas. he drove like a prick in his old 406.

I was 17 when i got my MK2 GTi im now 18.
Big bumpers, lowered, alloy wheels and sound equipment all insured at the same price if i had a sh!tty nova or corsa.
