Are they prone to failure? Getting a sort of clunk click on turning and braking
-
The simple answer is I dont know. I know I change alot of them on other cars I fix so I exept they are no better. You will have to get it on a lift and check were the free play is causing the clunk.
Guess you found the issue anyway as it was the subframe bolts.
-
They are only prone to fail if they have too much stress on them, either ARB's or ultra stiff / low suspension.
PS: are you on air?
-
I'm getting a clunking noise, when I go over sleeping policemen... on the passenger side, I'm guessing drop links, I hope its covered in warranty
-
Yes mate i'm on air
-
could be giving them lots of stress when you air out to park? as the bushings add resistance to the ARB when pushing it?
-
Yea of course mate could well be but wondered on common faults
