I ran APR on my last mk4 with aum engine stage 2 with all ems files, briiliant map couldn't fault it 221hp/250ish tq. There pretty expensive but sale on now i think rate it highly. R-tech is cheaper and are as good, can't say better as never driven them back to back but APR was spot on.

User pref really have had both r-tech and APR both good but found APR more aggressive map which I pref. when my new engine in being mapped by badger5 or R-tech.

I have APR Stage I on at the moment and it's not a bad map makes decent enough power for a near standard car however I would still recommend R-Tech as the linear throttle map makes a massive difference and have no doubts they'd get the most out of it.
