Title: Oil & cables

Anyone get any free oil with their GTI/GTD at collection?

I have Nav Pro. and advanced telephone, what cables if any should be supplied?

I asked for a topup bottle when collecting and got one no probs (from dealer in Kent).

I thought with adv phone prep now it was all (working) USB so no MDI cable (as no MDI socket)

I have Nav Pro, no advanced telephone and the car came with a standard USB socket NOT MDI so doesn't need a cable. Although my dealer says they still come with a cable and gave me the MDI Lightning cable.

I received no oil or USB cables. The reason I asked about the cable (USB) is with advanced phone you would need a cable with the phone connection at right angles. While in the armrest and connected up the lid won't close. I have an HTC one. Anyone know if you can get this type of cable?

With adv phone prep you are supposed to use your own cable.

Normal usb->micro usb cable works fine for me with an S4 but you can get cables with a 90 degree connector if thats what youre looking for? if so best bet would be ebay
