Title: best brake fluid for mk6, vw brake fluid service?
Post by: Dipesh2031 on 28 July 2014, 04:51
Hi,

I want to do a full brake fluid flush I don't know when the last one was carried out as the car was serviced at a vw specialist, was thinking to use ATE SL6? dunno if this is good or not? or maybe just the standard pagid dot 4 stuff from euro car parts.

also, I heard vw charge £50 for a full brake flush and refill? I want to got to vw as they apparently cycle the abs pump with VCDS/vagcom to make sure all the fluid is pumped out and then refill the system, this sounds great to me although a little cheap for £50?

thanks
