Title: Heating is hissing at me
Post by: benmanc on 27 July 2014, 15:47
I have climatronic and come to put aircon on the other day and it was just blowing warm air.

Checked f5 and f25 fuses and they are fine.

Tried to power it up and i can hear a strange hissing noise from what seems to be from passanger footwell/glove box.

The noise strangely isnt really there when engine off.

Only when the blowers are on and engine on. Any temp.

Any ideas..?

Sounds like leaking gas noice.

Goes away when econ on.

Might need regassing. Never had it done

Well if the A/C gas is leaking it would be empty in a short space of time.
