Title: Car dead

Went out to car today would not open via key fob got in ignition dead tried to jump nothing I think battery dead can any body help?

If battery is dead, try replacing the battery?

looks like the battery. Try poking it with a multi meter if you have one. Set it on volts with the straight line, dc current. It should read somewhere in the region of 12.6v, anything like 10v you've probably got a dead cell. If you do get it going should be over 14v from the voltage being supplied from the alternator.

maybe call your road assistance to charge it temporarily then drive and go change it if it's indeed dead?  just an idea  :laugh:
