Title: Headlight Scratch

Hi All,

I've had the unfortunate luck to get a stone fly up and mark the front headlight and bonnet on my 6 month old MkVII GTD.
The chip on the paint I have been able to deal with. Just not so sure about the scratch on the headlight. Different places on the interwebs have suggested 2000/2500/3000 grit wet and dry paper then polish with DA.

Anybody out there tried this?

That's brutal. Have you tried posting on Detailing World? You might get more opinions on there.
